During his working visit to Riau, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspected the Green Policing booth at Riau Police Headquarters (Polda Riau). The booth showcased innovations by Riau Police Chief Inspector General Herry Heryawan and his team in supporting environmental conservation and food security.

General Sigit and his entourage visited the Green Policing booth at Riau Police Headquarters in Pekanbaru on Tuesday, 17 March 2026. Also present were DPR Commission IV Chair Siti Hediati Hariyadi (Titiek Soeharto) and Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni.

Riau Police Chief Inspector General Herry Heryawan accompanied the National Police Chief during the visit. The Human Resources Section Head of Riau Police, Senior Commissioner Boy Jeckson Situmorang, provided information on the various booths on display.

During the inspection, the National Police Chief visited several booths presenting data on Riau’s forests, the Green Policing programme, and waste-to-energy technology. One attraction was the RADAR booth (Recapitulation of Community Reports and Response), an automated system that forwards community reports directly to the mobile phones of district police chiefs.

General Sigit also reviewed the progress of the food security programme and received detailed reports on Riau Police’s success in solving an elephant murder case that occurred previously.

Mural Art Performance and Painting Presentation

The atmosphere at Riau Police Headquarters became more festive as the National Police Chief, Titiek Soeharto, and Raja Juli Antoni witnessed a theatrical elephant dance performance. As a symbol of support for youth creativity and environmental campaigns, the three of them took turns creating mural graffiti using spray paint on a pre-prepared elephant-themed wall. The sketches were then completed by professional mural artists into a finished artwork.

Towards the end of the event, the delegation received a souvenir in the form of a painting presented by the Young Preachers (Dai Cilik) and Green Policing Ambassadors of Riau Police. After the visit, the delegation continued to Al-Adzim Mosque at Riau Police Headquarters.
