National Police Chief Holds Ramadan Silaturahmi with KSPSI West Java, Distributes 2,000 Food Aid Packages

National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo today attended a Ramadan Silaturahmi with the Large Family of Workers DPD KSPSI West Java in Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java. The event, held at PT NOK Indonesia on Friday afternoon (6 March 2026), showcased close synergy between the police and labour elements. The arrival of the Police Chief and his entourage was welcomed by KSPSI President Andi Gani Nena Wea and the West Java KSPSI Labour Family. Also in attendance were KSPSI Advisory Board members including Police Internal Security and Community Affairs Director General Yuda Gustawan, General Imam Widodo, Ferriyady Hartadinata, and Irjen (Ret.) Cahyono Wibowo. The Police Chief was accompanied by Criminal Investigation Agency head Komjen Syahardiantono, Public Relations Division head Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, Medical and Forensic Services Division head Irjen Asep Hendradiana, and Karobinkar SSDM Polri Brig Gen Langgeng Purnomo. Also present were Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Irjen Asep Edi Suheri and the Bareskrim Police’s Disaster and Social Affairs Task Force head Brig Gen Moh Irhamni. Upon arrival, Gen Sigit and his entourage surveyed the Mart Cooperative – a union workers’ co-operative unit serving workers’ daily needs. During the event, the Police Chief also symbolically handed donations to 53 orphaned children, including school backpacks, complete school supplies, and cash. Additionally, 2,000 food aid packages were distributed to workers, including those who had been laid off; packages contained rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other essentials. “On this occasion, I wish you a blessed Ramadan 1447 Hijri. I apologise for any faults,” the Police Chief said. “Today’s activity is our effort to strengthen the silaturahmi between the police and I, as the KSPSI Advisory Council Chairman, with the entire labour family,” he added. The event, attended by around 1,000 workers, also featured a religious lecture and collective prayers led by BPJS Kesehatan Supervisory Board member Afif Johan and concluded with breaking the fast together.
