A troop assembly for Operation Ketupat 2026, the annual security operation supporting Eid al-Fitr celebrations, was held at the National Monument in Central Jakarta. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stressed that solidarity is the key to the success of Operation Ketupat 2026.

“On this occasion, I must emphasise again that the success of Operation Ketupat is our shared responsibility. For this reason, we must continuously strengthen our solidarity and synergy in every task we undertake. Together, we will realise safe travel and happy families,” said General Sigit in his address at the National Monument in Central Jakarta on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

General Sigit expressed his thanks and highest appreciation to all combined security personnel involved in Operation Ketupat 2026, including personnel from the TNI and Basarnas (Indonesian Sea and Coast Guard).

“Esteemed assembly participants and guests. Before concluding my remarks, I wish to express my thanks and highest appreciation to all combined security personnel from the TNI, National Police, relevant ministries, the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Basarnas, Pertamina, Jasa Raharja, Jasa Marga, municipal police, the Transportation and Health Departments, firefighters, the Boy Scouts, and all other law and order partners who have participated in supporting Operation Ketupat 2026,” he said.

General Sigit also urged all personnel to view every assignment as an honour, every challenge as a calling to duty, and every service to the people as a path to spiritual devotion.

“Best wishes in your duties. Regard every assignment as an honour, every challenge as a calling to duty, and every service to the people, nation, and state as a path to spiritual devotion to gain the mercy of Almighty God,” he said.

“Finally, I wish a blessed Ramadan and happy Eid al-Fitr celebrations in the year 1447 Hijri to all Muslims celebrating. May in this month of grace, we continue to receive forgiveness and blessings as we approach the Day of Victory,” he concluded.
