National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo conducted a Ramadan Safari in Central Java (Jateng). During this occasion, General Sigit emphasised the importance of national unity and called upon all elements of society to support the policies of President Prabowo Subianto in facing global uncertainty.

The Ramadan Safari agenda was held at Central Java Regional Police Headquarters (Mapolda Jateng) in Semarang on Monday, 16 March 2026. General Sigit was accompanied by senior officials from National Police Headquarters, including Head of National Police Intelligence Komjen Yuda Gustawan, Deputy Chief of Operational Affairs Komjen Mohamad Fadil Imran, Deputy Chief of Human Resources Irjen Anwar, Head of Public Relations Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, and Head of Traffic Corps Irjen Agus Suryonugroho.

Attending the event were Central Java Provincial Secretary Sumarno alongside the regional leadership forum (Forkopimda), including Central Java Regional Police Chief Irjen Ribut Hari Wibowo, Commander of Diponegoro Military Region Mayjen Achiruddin Darojat, leaders of Islamic organisations and inter-religious figures throughout Central Java, student representatives, and online motorcycle taxi (ojol) communities.

In his remarks, the National Police Chief outlined global geopolitical dynamics, particularly the conflict in the Middle East which impacts world economic stability, including energy prices. He emphasised that in such difficult circumstances, synergy between religious scholars, government officials, and all levels of society represents the nation’s primary asset.

“Unity from all sectors of society and all stakeholders is the key to facing various challenges. We have experience when confronting COVID-19; we were able to rise because we were all united,” said General Sigit.

Furthermore, the National Police Chief invited the public to continue supporting President Prabowo’s strategic measures in maintaining food and energy sovereignty domestically. He noted that the President’s active diplomacy and energy resilience policies aim to ensure the public remains protected from the impacts of global crisis.

“The President continues to pursue peace diplomacy while maintaining domestic stability. The government is promoting food security and renewable energy so we can stand on our own feet. The key is that we must remain united and not become divided,” he asserted.

General Sigit also reminded the nation to properly prepare the demographic dividend through superior human resources to realise the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Before attending the Ramadan Safari, the National Police Chief inspected the readiness of the annual exodus (mudik) at Kalikangkung toll gate. He conveyed a message encouraging that this spirit of togetherness also be realised in providing excellent service to travellers so they can reach their destinations safely.

“If the exodus runs safely and smoothly, this will also stimulate the local economy through the circulation of money from the centre to the regions. Let us uphold the spirit of ‘Safe Exodus, Happy Families’,” he concluded.
