Jakarta (ANTARA) — National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo called upon all segments of society to unite in realising the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045 during a Ramadan Safari event at the Central Java Regional Police Headquarters in Semarang on Monday.

According to an official statement, Sigit emphasised that the unity of all national elements is the key factor in realising the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision amid current global challenges and conflicts.

The government, he stated, continues to undertake various diplomatic efforts to maintain peace in the international arena.

“This is certainly a major undertaking for the government and for all of us to face the effects of this escalation,” he said.

He therefore urged all parties to unite and support the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Moreover, he continued, the government is currently promoting self-sufficiency in food, energy, and the enhancement of human resource quality and natural resource management.

“So that we can face the challenges that exist independently and can realise what has become our collective aspiration to achieve the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045,” he said.

Furthermore, the Bhayangkara Corps leader stated that the government continues to maintain oil and energy resource availability amid escalating conflicts in the Middle East region.

“So that our oil adequacy remains secure and alhamdulillah certainly over the coming months our oil will continue to be in an adequate condition,” he said.

For this reason, he urged the public not to panic or purchase fuel excessively. He assured that fuel stocks remain more than sufficient, particularly during the Lebaran exodus period.

“Our hope is that the public need not panic, which could otherwise lead to panic buying, and that would certainly impact the stock situation which is actually in an adequate condition,” he said.
