Following his leadership of the 2026 Ketupat Operation Troop Assembly at the National Monument, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended a joint iftar dinner organised by the National Board of the Indonesian Muslim Students Federation (PB SEMMI). The General utilised this occasion to strengthen synergy between the National Police and students.

The joint iftar dinner held by PB SEMMI was conducted at Hotel Aryaduta, Gambir, Central Jakarta on Thursday, 12 March 2026. The event carried the theme “United in the Holy Month of Ramadhan to Realise the Eight Point Programme.”

General Sigit and his entourage arrived at the location at approximately 17:45 WIB (Western Indonesia Time). In attendance were the President of the Syarikat Islam Executive Council (LTSI) Hamdan Zoelva and the General Chairman of PB SEMMI Bintang Wahyu Saputra.

In the activity attended by approximately 500 participants, the National Police Chief was accompanied by senior officials from the National Police Headquarters. In attendance were the National Police Intelligence Commander Komjen Yuda Gustawan, the National Police Chief’s Human Resources Assistant Inspector General Anwar, the National Police Professional Affairs Division Head Inspector General Abdul Karim, the National Police Public Relations Division Head Johnny Eddizon Isir, and the National Police Health Services Head Inspector General Asep Hendradiana.

The National Police Chief’s presence in this student forum emphasised the importance of the role of youth and intellectuals in maintaining national unity, particularly in the holy month of Ramadan, to support the achievement of national development targets outlined in the Eight Point Programme of President Prabowo Subianto.

Beyond merely breaking the fast together, the agenda was also marked by humanitarian action. The National Police Chief provided symbolic distribution of welfare assistance and food aid packages. A total of 50 food aid packages containing basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil and sugar were distributed. Additionally, 50 welfare packages for orphans were also provided.
