National Police Chief Attends as SMA KTB Receives International Curriculum Certificate

SMA Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara (KTB) has received the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) certificate from the Regional Director, Asia Pacific of the International Baccalaureate Organization. The certificate was presented directly to National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The event was attended by Deputy National Police Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, Assistant to the National Police Chief for Human Resources Inspector General Anwar, and Chief Finance Officer of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) Umeet Shah. The ceremony took place at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta. ‘Alhamdulillah, today we have inaugurated the executive board of the Kemala Taruna Bhayangkara Educational Institution and simultaneously received the IBDP certificate from the International Baccalaureate Organization for SMA KTB,’ said General Sigit to reporters at the location on Thursday (12/6/2026). General Sigit noted that obtaining the IBDP certificate for SMA KTB was not easy. He stated that the process was carried out very rigorously. ‘Our hope is that by receiving this IBDP certificate, SMA KTB will truly be able to implement the President’s programme to establish top-tier schools,’ he said. He added that SMA KTB aims to prepare its students to become excellent young people. From SMA KTB, students are expected to progress to civil service academies or internationally renowned universities. ‘Of course, our target and hope is that they can enter the top 10 international leading schools. We hope that all the hard work, from recruitment to the education process which is now in its second wave, will truly produce young generations and future leaders to realise the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision,’ the National Police Chief added.
