National Police Chief Asks GP Ansor-Banser to Support Government Programs and Maintain Public Order
Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has called on the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) wing organizations to support and help ensure the success of all programs under the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration.
Listyo made the remarks while delivering a briefing and opening the instructor training and coaching course II for GP Ansor, Banser, and the Rijalul Ansor Dhikr and Sholawat Assembly (MDS) in Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region, on Saturday (14/2).
On the occasion, Listyo emphasized the strengthening of synergy in maintaining public security and order.
“With this training, it is hoped that the quality of human resources among NU, Banser, and Ansor cadres will continue to improve in maintaining public security stability, supporting government programs, and supporting economic growth,” Listyo said.
According to Listyo, all elements of the nation must unite amid the diversity of ethnicities, cultures, and religions. This, he said, is the primary strength of the Indonesian nation. Moreover, he noted that the current global situation is uncertain and has an impact on the domestic situation. Therefore, strong collaboration and synergy among all citizens is needed.
“Amid global economic pressure, Indonesia’s economy remains in a stable position. This is inseparable from the implementation of the Astacita mission as well as various other government policies and programs,” Listyo said.
“I entrust NU, Banser, and Ansor to continue walking hand in hand with the National Police, enhancing synergy, togetherness, and collaboration to become even stronger,” he emphasized.
Listyo continued that all ranks of the National Police must work shoulder to shoulder with NU, Ansor, and Banser, from the central to regional levels, to safeguard and build the nation for the better.
“Show the world that Indonesia is an extraordinary nation, capable of leaping from a developing country to a developed nation, and respected by the international community,” he said.
