National Police Chief Appoints Brigadier General Yudo Hermanto as North Sulawesi Police Chief
National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has carried out a major rotation within the Indonesian National Police (Polri). In the latest reshuffle, Brigadier General Yudo Hermanto has been officially appointed as North Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, replacing Inspector General Roycke Harry Langie.
Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Police, Senior Commissioner Alamsyah P. Hasibuan, explained that the change of position is part of career development, organisational refreshment, and periodic performance improvement. The move is also carried out within the framework of tour of duty and tour of area for officers.
Brigadier General Yudo Hermanto previously served as Head of the Internal Affairs Bureau of the Police Professional and Security Division. Meanwhile, Inspector General Roycke Harry Langie has been promoted to the position of Assistant for Operations to the National Police Chief. He replaces Commissioner General Mohammad Fadil Imran, who has been transferred as a high-ranking officer of the Police Operations Staff in preparation for retirement.
In addition to the position of Regional Police Chief, the reshuffle also affects the position of Deputy Regional Police Chief and a number of principal officials within the North Sulawesi Police. Based on National Police Chief Telegram Number ST/1877/VIII/KEP./2026 and ST/1878/VIII/KEP./2026 dated 30 August 2026, the following is a list of officials affected by the rotation:
Brigadier General Awi Setiyono has been appointed to a new position as Principal Police Instructor Level I at the Police Education and Training Institute. His replacement, Brigadier General Susetio Cahyadi, previously served as Middle Police Instructor at the Police Education and Training Institute.
Among middle-ranking officers, Senior Commissioner Alamsyah Parulian Hasibuan will take on a new assignment as Head of the Undergraduate Law Study Programme at the Police Science College. The position of Head of Public Relations that he leaves behind will be filled by Senior Commissioner Steidy Raranta.
Furthermore, Senior Commissioner Sugeng Prayitno has been transferred as a middle-ranking officer of the North Sulawesi Police in preparation for retirement. He is replaced by Senior Commissioner Malpa Malacoppo, who previously served at the Police Intelligence and Security Agency. Lastly, Senior Commissioner Arian Primadanu Colibrito has been promoted to Middle Police Auditor Level II at the Police General Supervision Inspectorate.
