National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto led the Operation Ketupat 2026 troop assembly at Monas in Jakarta. The assembly demonstrated the state’s readiness to secure the outbound and return flow of Lebaran travel this year.

The Operation Ketupat 2026 troop assembly took place at the South Cawan Intersection Field of Monas, Central Jakarta, on Thursday 12 March 2026 in the afternoon. The assembly involved 3,363 joint personnel, with Senior Commissioner Bayu Pratama Gubunagi serving as Assembly Commander.

Attending the event were Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs General (Ret.) Djamari Chhaniago and senior officials from the Political and Security Coordination Ministry. Also present were Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi and Directors-General from the Transport Ministry, National Search and Rescue Agency Chief Air Vice-Marshal Mohammad Syafii, Head of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency Teuku Faisal Fathani, and Jasa Raharja Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Awaluddin, along with representatives from other relevant stakeholders. Deputy National Police Chief Komjen Dedi Prasetyo and all Command Headquarters personnel also attended.

In Operation Ketupat 2026, General Sigit serves as the Operation Policy Officer (Bijakops), supported by Deputy National Police Chief Komjen Dedi Prasetyo as deputy. Technically, the operation will be led by National Traffic Police Chief Irjen Agus Suryonugroho as Chief of Operations. All Operation Ketupat 2026 officers were present at the coordination meeting.

The agenda opened with symbolic ribbon attachment by the National Police Chief and TNI Commander to representatives of Operation Ketupat 2026 personnel, marking the commencement of the humanitarian operation.

“This troop assembly represents a verification of personnel readiness as well as facilities and infrastructure, whilst also demonstrating commitment and cross-sectoral synergy to ensure the success of Operation Ketupat 2026, so that the implementation of exodus travel and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijra can proceed safely, comfortably, orderly and smoothly,” General Sigit said in his address.

After the National Police Chief and TNI Commander delivered their addresses, they conducted inspections of the troops and vehicles. General Sigit also presented 150 KLX 150cc trail motorcycle units to the police departments of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra to serve the public, particularly during Operation Ketupat 2026.

The troop assembly showcased various vehicles and technologies deployed to facilitate the smooth operation of the outbound and return traffic in 2026. These included Maung and Baracuda armoured personnel carriers, electronic traffic law enforcement vehicles, and special water treatment vehicles. There were also specialised vehicles such as a Command Centre vehicle, Traffic Accident Analysis vehicle, and Road Accident Rescue vehicle from the National Traffic Police Command.
