National players for Governor's Cup

SEMARANG (JP): National tennis players are scheduled to compete in the second Central Java Governor's Cup championships from Nov. 20 to Nov. 26 here.

The organizing committee chairman and also chairman of Central Java chapter of the Indonesian Tennis Association (Pelti), Soekendro, said on Saturday that several top players had confirmed their participation. They include women's players Liza Andriani, Dea Sumantri, Frederika Girsang and men's players Yusmawan Fahmi, Febi Widhiyanto and Hendri Susilo Pramono.

"We are expecting more top players to compete. But Suwandi has confirmed his absence as he is competing abroad," he said. (har)
