The national one-way or single-direction scheme from KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to KM 421 of the Semarang-Solo toll road, as part of the Lebaran homecoming traffic flow for 2026, has been officially implemented starting Wednesday (18/3) today.

The implementation of the national one-way scheme was marked by a flag-off ceremony conducted by Transport Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, attended by West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan and Traffic Directorate’s Aviation and Ground Enforcement Director Brigadier General Faizal.

Dudy stated that the application of this one-way scheme is one form of the state’s presence to provide services for the public undertaking homecoming journeys.

“One of them is carrying out traffic engineering initiated by the National Police, in this case the Traffic Directorate and several regional police commands—West Java, Central Java, and East Java—to ensure smoothness and comfort for the public,” said Dudy to reporters on Wednesday (18/3).

On that occasion, Dudy also urged homecoming travellers to pay attention to the directions and instructions from the officers in the field.

“Hopefully, in carrying out this journey, it can be done well and safely reach the destination,” he said.
