National Nutrition Day: Sarihusada Launches the 'Child Weight Warrior' Campaign

Underweight or low body weight can increase the risk of growth disorders in children, both physically and cognitively. Therefore, ensuring balanced nutrition, early detection, and routine monitoring are important steps to ensure children achieve an ideal body weight.

On the occasion of National Nutrition Day 2026, Sarihusada launched the ‘Pejuang Berat Badan Anak’ campaign to educate mothers on the importance of attention to a child’s growth and development. This campaign continues Sarihusada’s previous commitments through the Generasi Maju Bebas Stunting (GMBS) movement and the ‘3 Langkah Maju’ (3 Steps Forward) which have reached 1 million beneficiaries.

The programme has also received recognition from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) for its impact in raising awareness of early detection and growth monitoring among the public.

Inspirational Talk Show with Speakers

The launch event of this campaign will feature an inspirational talk show with several speakers: 1. Dr. Ian Suryadi Suteja, M.Med Sc, Sp.A (Pediatric Specialist) 2. Angelia Susanto, HN Marketing & Strategy Director Danone SN Indonesia 3. Cut Meyriska (Actress, Influencer, Mother). The talk show will be hosted by Tifanny Raytama as MC/Host.

MURI Record Presentation

In the sequence of events, there will also be a ceremony for handing over records from MURI for two achievements of Sarihusada’s education and screening programmes:

  • Record 1: The highest number of Growth and Nutrition Status Screenings for toddlers, with 1 million beneficiaries through the Generasi Maju Bebas Stunting programme.

  • Record 2: The highest number of in-person Education & Stunting Screening to Participants, in 14 districts, 10,195 participants.

The event was also attended by a number of company leaders and guests, including Sarihusada Healthcare Nutrition Director Osmar Semesta Susilo, MIB; Sarihusada CEO Joris Bernand; Sarihusada Healthcare Nutrition Director Vera Saw; and a representative from the Museum Rekor-Dunia Indonesia (MURI).

Launch of the ‘Pejuang Berat Badan Anak’ Campaign

This moment also serves as an invitation for mothers and invited media to join the launch of the ‘Pejuang Berat Badan Anak’ campaign. The campaign aims to raise public awareness of the importance of monitoring child growth and preventive measures against malnutrition from an early age.
