National Nutrition Agency to revoke SPPG incentives for failing to serve 300+ MBG 3B beneficiaries

The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) will revoke a daily incentive of Rp6 million for Nutrition Service Units (SPPGs) that fail to serve at least 300 beneficiaries from the 3B group—pregnant women, nursing mothers, and toddlers—by 2 June 2026.

The Monitoring and Oversight Deputy (Tauwas) of BGN stated in Circular No. 5 of 2026, released on Monday, that SPPGs failing to comply will face major suspension.

“The requirement to serve a minimum of 300 3B beneficiaries must be implemented from 2 June 2026. Sanctions imposed on partners and foundations include major suspension, meaning they will not receive the daily Rp6 million incentive until compliance is verified,” said BGN’s Tauwas Deputy, Lieutenant General (Retired) Dadang Hendrayuda, in Jakarta on Monday.

Dadang emphasised that the circular serves as a guideline to set the minimum beneficiary numbers each SPPG must serve, ensuring consistent nutrition service coverage and implementation across all regions.

“During field inspections, we often find SPPGs serving fewer than 100 3B beneficiaries,” Dadang added.

Dadang stressed that BGN will impose strict written sanctions on SPPG heads and their partner foundations, including official warnings recorded in the SPPG’s performance records.

“Confirmation results will form the basis for assessing compliance with the minimum requirements,” he said.

He noted that the sanction mechanism will follow BGN’s administrative procedures, including a specified period for clarification.

Dadang stated that BGN has set minimum service standards for the 3B group to ensure equitable nutrition access, improve public health quality, and maintain programme sustainability in line with national policy mandates. The standards also aim to strengthen oversight and ensure optimal use of programme resources.
