National Nutrition Agency Reports 414 Problematic Service Units to Attorney General Over Corruption Indications

The Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Sudaryono, stated that the agency has reported 414 problematic Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) to the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung). Among the 414 problematic units, the BGN discovered instances of duplicate accounts, active accounts where kitchens were not yet operational, and active accounts linked to fictitious kitchens.

“We have also reported this to law enforcement to determine if there is evidence of mens rea—for instance, whether there was an intention to steal, corrupt, or embezzle. We leave it to the prosecutors at the Attorney General’s Office to investigate,” Sudaryono told reporters on Friday, 31 July 2026.

He emphasised that all parties within the BGN, as well as BGN partners, will be treated equally if they commit legal violations. He asserted that no one, including officials within the Nutrition Agency or its partners, is above the law.

Based on the findings regarding the 414 problematic SPPGs, the BGN confirmed that it has returned Rp311.2 billion to the state. “We have returned state and public funds amounting to Rp311,246,295,184 following our investigation into the 414 SPPGs,” said Sudaryono.

Specifically, 121 SPPGs returned Rp137.5 billion via Bank BRI; 117 SPPGs returned Rp74 billion via Bank BNI; 129 SPPGs returned Rp71.6 billion via Bank Mandiri; 19 SPPGs returned Rp12.9 billion via Bank Syariah Indonesia; and 28 SPPGs returned Rp15.3 billion via Bank BTN.
