National Nutrition Agency Office Raided by Attorney General's Office, Palace Responds
The Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, has addressed the recent raid on the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office located in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (3/6/2026). He requested that the public await the results of the investigation conducted by law enforcement authorities.
“Let us give the law enforcement officers the opportunity to carry out their duties, and then we shall collectively observe and await the outcome,” Prasetyo stated in an official release.
According to the Minister, this action is part of a broader process aimed at improving governance and management across all elements of the government. He also advised all government stakeholders to perform their duties in accordance with legal norms.
“This is certainly part of the process to reaffirm our shared commitment to always strive for the improvement of governance and management across all government bodies, ministries, and agencies,” said Prasetyo.
“Let us all ensure that in conducting government business and daily duties, we continue to avoid actions that violate norms, particularly legal norms,” he added.
Previously, President Prabowo implemented a leadership change within the BGN as part of an evaluation to strengthen the implementation of the government’s priority programmes. The Head of the BGN, previously held by Dadan Hindayana, has been replaced by Nanik S. Deyang.
Earlier today, the Attorney General’s Office was reported to have conducted a search of the BGN headquarters. This was confirmed by the Acting Head of the Legal Information Centre of the Attorney General’s Office, Mochamad Jeffry, to reporters.
“Investigators from the Special Crimes Unit (Pidsus) of the Attorney General’s Office did indeed conduct a search at the BGN office,” he stated.
