During the month of Ramadan, the National Library (Perpusnas) will be open every day. The library will close only on national holidays and collective leave days.

How to Reach the National Library by KRL Commuter Rail

The National Library is accessible via the KRL Commuter Line. Here are the routes:

  • Those coming from Bogor and Depok can take the train bound for Jakarta Kota and alight at Gondangdia Station.
  • Those coming from Bekasi must transfer at Manggarai Station, then take the KRL bound for Jakarta Kota and alight at Gondangdia Station.
  • Those coming from Tangerang must transfer at Duri Station and take the train to Manggarai Station. From Manggarai Station, take the train bound for Jakarta Kota and alight at Gondangdia Station.

  • From the Harmoni bus stop, take bus 1A (PIK–Balai Kota), bus 2 (Harmoni–Pulo Gadung), or bus 2A (Rawa Buaya–Pulogadung) in the opposite direction and alight at the Balai Kota stop.
