The United Development Party (PPP) conducted simultaneous slaughter and distribution of sacrificial animals across multiple regions in Indonesia during the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. By Thursday morning (28 May), over 100 sacrificial animals had been distributed by PPP officials and cadres in various areas. ‘Nationwide, PPP is conducting simultaneous kurban across various regions. As of this morning, reports indicate over 100 animals have been distributed,’ stated PPP Chairman Muhamad Mardiono during the animal handover at the DKI Jakarta PPP Regional Branch office. According to Mardiono, this year’s kurban by the PPP Central Board and DKI Jakarta Regional Branch is centralized at one location before distributing the meat to those in need. ‘I attended the DKI Jakarta PPP Regional Branch office today for the sacrificial ritual involving cows and goats. The Central Board provided five cows, bringing the total to 11,’ he explained. He stated that this year’s kurban is not only an act of obedience to Allah SWT but also a demonstration of social care. ‘This year’s kurban is not merely a spiritual occasion but also carries social significance, as the meat will be distributed to those in need as an act of compassion,’ he added. Mardiono also expressed appreciation to PPP cadres across the country for their participation. ‘I wish all PPP cadres across Indonesia a successful kurban and thank them for their involvement in commemorating Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. May our sincere intentions be accepted by Allah SWT and benefit those in need,’ he concluded. The delivery of sacrificial cows is being carried out in phases, with two cows already handed over on 27 May 2026. The animal distribution also serves as a gesture of gratitude to Allah SWT for His blessings and continued business prosperity. Padang Panjang City Government distributed 1,170 meat distribution coupons to residents during Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah on Wednesday (27 May). The Tasikmalaya Police Regional Force provided sacrificial animals as a gesture of gratitude and sharing spirit. Community and MSME involvement is considered vital to ensure the social activities’ benefits reach a wider local population. Eid al-Adha presents an opportunity to strengthen compassion and unity within communities. Consumers are no longer merely purchasing basic necessities for the holiday but also supplementary items to make family gatherings more comfortable and enjoyable.
