National Internship Programme 2026 Opens in July, Fresh Graduates to Receive Allowance Tied to Regional Minimum Wage

Registration for the National Internship Programme 2026 will open in July. This year, the participant quota has been increased to 150,000 people. The National Internship Programme is an initiative of the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) aimed at recent graduates of diploma and bachelor’s degree programmes. Participants will gain professional work experience while receiving an allowance adjusted to the provincial or district/city minimum wage. In its official Instagram account @kemnaker, the ministry urged interested candidates to prepare their SIAPkerja accounts before registration opens. This account will be used to register for the Kemnaker Internship. Applicants must ensure their personal data in the SIAPkerja account is complete and matches their original data, and use an active email address and mobile phone number. The SIAPkerja account can be accessed at https://account.kemnaker.go.id/register. Based on previous waves, the requirements for the National Internship Programme are: a graduate of a higher education institution at S1 or D3 level; a fresh graduate or a maximum of one year after graduation; able to participate in the internship for six months; and there is no age limit. The internship allowance will follow the latest district or provincial minimum wage.
