National Internship 2026 Batch 2 Enters Selection Stage

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has stated that the 2026 Batch 2 National Internship Programme (MagangHub) has entered the participant selection stage by the organising partners.

The Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity (Binalavotas) at the Ministry of Manpower, Darmawansyah, stated in Jakarta on Friday that the selection stage will run until 15 September 2026.

“The selection process is a vital part of ensuring that participants undertake internships in accordance with the specific fields and requirements of the organising partners,” said Darmawansyah.

Furthermore, he noted that prospective participants who have registered will undergo selection according to the mechanisms established by each respective partner, whether they be private companies or various ministries and agencies.

Darmawansyah added that the selection process is conducted based on the specific needs, internship fields, and requirements set by each organising partner.

The selection results are scheduled to be announced on 18 September 2026. Participants who pass the selection are scheduled to commence their internship activities on 21 September 2026.

Darmawansyah emphasised that internships must provide work experience and learning that are relevant to the participants’ competencies.

Therefore, he continued, the selection process is expected to align the needs of the organising partners with the competencies and interests of the prospective participants.

“We want this internship programme to serve as an opportunity for participants to gain work experience relevant to their skills. Consequently, the internship process must provide experience that supports the development of the participants’ competencies,” said Darmawansyah.
