National Food Prices 30 June 2026: Bird's Eye Chilli and Chicken Eggs

The National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, released its latest update on food commodity prices on Tuesday morning, 30 June 2026. Based on data collected up to 09.30 WIB, the price of red bird’s eye chilli was recorded at Rp57,050 per kilogramme (kg), whilst purebred chicken eggs were priced at Rp29,100 per kg.

Beyond these two commodities, a number of other staple goods also showed price movements at the national retail level. Shallots were recorded at Rp52,000 per kg and garlic reached Rp46,850 per kg. For meat commodities, fresh purebred chicken meat was sold for Rp35,950 per kg, whilst grade I and II beef stood at Rp138,300 and Rp131,400 per kg respectively.

The rice sector was observed to vary depending on quality. Lower-quality rice was priced from Rp14,050 per kg, whilst super-quality rice reached Rp17,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of branded packaged cooking oil I remained above Rp25,000 per litre.

In addition to red bird’s eye chilli, the price of large red chillies was around Rp48,750 per kg and curly red chillies Rp46,750 per kg.
