Jakarta (ANTARA) - Inspector General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yudhiawan Wibisono stated that the national ESDM sector command post for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) 1447 Hijriah successfully ensured energy availability for the public during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr amid challenges from geopolitical conditions. “This command post is not merely a control centre but a tangible manifestation of the government’s commitment to guaranteeing energy availability for the public during Eid al-Fitr. Amid the uncertain global geopolitical situation, the series of activities for the 2026 Eid Command Post were successfully navigated safely, smoothly, and under control,” Yudhiawan said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday. The national ESDM sector command post for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) 1447 Hijriah, which began on 12 March 2026, was officially closed on Tuesday. Yudhiawan Wibisono, representing Minister of ESDM Bahlil Lahadalia at the closing ceremony, stated that the implementation of the command post proceeded safely, smoothly, and under control. During this ESDM sector RAFI 2026 period, he said, Indonesia faced significant challenges due to unfavourable geopolitical conditions. For this reason, he extended his highest appreciation to the command post team and all energy sector personnel for carrying out the National ESDM Sector Command Post. This safe, smooth, and controlled condition, Yudhiawan said, was not based solely on daily command post reports. The Minister of ESDM and Deputy Minister of ESDM, he added, had verified this by visiting various regions directly. “These visits aimed to ensure the availability of BBM, LPG, natural gas, and the reliability of electricity supply, which, Alhamdulillah, were all well-managed. This also included preparedness for disaster anticipation by the Geological Agency,” he said. On the same occasion, Erika Retnowati, Chair of the National ESDM Sector RAFI 2026 Command Post and Member of the Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body Committee (BPH Migas), conveyed that through the spirit of collaboration and synergy among agencies, the National ESDM Sector Command Post ran smoothly. “We extend our utmost thanks to all members of the National ESDM Sector Command Post and the parties who have supported the implementation of the command post activities from preparation, opening, execution, to today,” she said. Erika explained that during the command post period, the resilience of petroleum fuel (BBM) stocks was secure, both for Gasoline, Gasoil, Kerosene, and Avtur types, with resilience maintained at an average of over 20 days.
