National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2026: Theme and Logo Download Link

Every year on 2 May, National Education Day (Hardiknas) is commemorated. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has announced the theme and logo for Hardiknas 2026. Quoting from the Guidelines for Commemorating National Education Day 2026, National Education Day on 2 May each year is a tangible manifestation of the Republic of Indonesia government’s concern for the importance of education as the main foundation of national development. National Education Day 2026 adopts the theme “Strengthening Universal Participation to Realise Quality Education for All”. The commemoration of Hardiknas also serves as a form of respect for the great services of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, who was born on 2 May 1889, as a pioneer of national education who laid the important foundation for the birth of an emancipatory education system that builds the nation’s character. Hardiknas is not merely intended to commemorate the birth of Ki Hadjar Dewantara as the Father of National Education Pioneers, but also becomes a momentum to reaffirm collective commitment in building superior, characterful, and competitive Indonesian human resources. This represents school revitalisation through improvements in facilities and infrastructure, strengthening the school ecosystem, and equitable education services across Indonesia. - Dominant blue colour The dominant blue colour symbolises trust, intelligence, professionalism, and a bright future.
