National Customer Day: Pertamina Distributes 8,100 Meal Portions Across 8 Cities
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga celebrated National Customer Day 2026 by sharing 8,100 portions of Ayam Kecap Rempah Nusantara with customers and the public. All the dishes were cooked together using Bright Gas by customers, small and medium enterprise players, and community groups, then distributed free of charge through petrol stations, orphanages, and social institutions.
The simultaneous cooking activity took place across eight regional areas: North Sumatra, South Sumatra, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua Maluku. The event was centred at the East Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.
Carrying the theme ‘Warisan Nusantara dari Hati, Cetak Rekor Indonesia’, the activity combined a MURI record-breaking agenda with a spirit of sharing and caring for the community.
President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Mars Ega Legowo Putra said the activity was a form of appreciation for the trust customers have continued to place in Pertamina Patra Niaga.
“Customers are an important part of the journey of PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga. Therefore, through today’s activity, we are presenting our utmost appreciation to customers and the public,” Ega said in a written statement on Sunday (6/9/2026).
In Jakarta, 2,850 meal portions were prepared for customers and the public. Meanwhile, the seven other regions each prepared 750 portions, bringing the total food distributed to 8,100 portions.
The preparation and distribution of the food was carried out under supervision to ensure the dishes could be received in good condition.
The food was then distributed to communities in the surrounding areas, including at petrol stations, orphanages, and social institutions. For the Jakarta area specifically, distribution reached five points through SPBU Fatmawati in South Jakarta, SPBU Hang Lekir in Central Jakarta, SPBU Kalimalang in East Jakarta, SPBU Joglo in West Jakarta, and SPBU Kelapa Gading in North Jakarta.
For foundations, distribution reached several orphanages and social institutions, including PA Yatim Aksi Nyata Pakubuwono, PA Mizan Amanah Pejompongan, PA Vincentius Putra, LKSA Dorkas, GKMI Cempaka Putih, and PA Griya Asih.
The benefits of the activity were felt directly by online motorcycle taxi drivers who received food at SPBU Hang Lekir.
“It is very helpful for us fellow online motorcycle taxi drivers on the road like this, especially at lunchtime, so it really helps,” said online motorcycle taxi driver Marja.
The spirit of sharing was also felt by Suci, a participant from Bogor who attended with her child. For Suci, her involvement was an opportunity to contribute her energy in preparing food for customers and the public.
“Certainly in this day and age, and in this economy, it is very beneficial, and we can also contribute in the form of labour,” Suci said.
The simultaneous cooking activity was also part of the Bright Gas Cooking Competition (BGCC) 2026 series, which provides a platform for the public to be creative and celebrate the richness of Indonesian cuisine. Through the experience of cooking together with Bright Gas and sharing food, Pertamina Patra Niaga strengthened its relationship with customers while delivering direct benefits to the community.
