National Customer Day: KB Bank Syariah Directors Gather Customer Feedback
The President Director of PT Bank KB Bukopin Syariah (KB Bank Syariah), A Iwan Ch, personally attended to customers at one of the KB Bank Syariah service offices in Jakarta to commemorate National Customer Day 2026, on Friday (4/9/2026). Iwan was accompanied by the Director of Compliance and Risk Management, Ahmad Aidil Ritonga.
In addition to assisting with customer transactions, the board of directors engaged in direct dialogue to listen to feedback, experiences, and the needs of customers regarding Sharia banking services. This information will subsequently serve as material for service evaluation and development.
Similar activities were held simultaneously across all KB Bank Syariah outlets in Indonesia, making National Customer Day a momentum for the bank’s top management to engage directly in the field rather than merely monitoring from behind their desks.
“The commemoration of National Customer Day serves as a reminder to us that every step and development of KB Bank Syariah must always stem from customer needs. For us, customers are not merely service users, but an essential part of the Bank’s journey. Therefore, we will continue to listen, understand, and provide the best, using customer feedback as our foundation in providing high-quality products and services,” Iwan stated in a press release on Friday (4/9/2026).
According to Iwan, good service cannot be measured solely by the speed and ease of transactions, but also through friendliness, responsiveness, and the bank’s ability to provide solutions that meet customer needs.
“We want to ensure that every customer receives a comfortable, trustworthy service experience that adheres to Sharia principles. We are committed to continuous improvement and presenting financial solutions that benefit both customers and the community,” he added.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Aidil Ritonga also interacted directly with customers while ensuring that all service processes were carried out in accordance with prudential principles, applicable regulations, and Sharia principles. The presence of the compliance director in this direct service session demonstrates that the evaluations collected from customers are also filtered through a compliance lens, rather than just focusing on customer service aspects.
Through the 2026 National Customer Day commemoration, KB Bank Syariah stated that it will continue to improve service quality, strengthen relationships with customers, and provide Sharia banking services that are easy, reliable, and relevant to the needs of the community. The next challenge is to ensure that the feedback collected from these direct dialogue sessions is truly translated into service changes, rather than remaining merely as an annual ceremonial note.
