National Assessment Begins, Tangerang City DPMPTSP Optimistic About Retaining Top Predicate
The Tangerang City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) has officially undergone an Integrated Performance Assessment (Penkin) from the Indonesian Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). This national evaluation serves as a crucial indicator for measuring the quality of licensing services and the region’s investment competitiveness.
The assessment team from BKPM conducted field verification and examined various aspects of public service implemented by the Tangerang City DPMPTSP. The evaluation covers the implementation of the risk-based Online Single Submission (OSS) system, service quality, completeness of facilities and infrastructure, public satisfaction levels, and various innovations that facilitate the ease of licensing.
This assessment is part of the government’s commitment to ensuring that all investment services operate more quickly, transparently, and accountably, while providing legal certainty for the public and business actors. Beyond evaluating service quality, BKPM also assessed the local government’s ability to drive investment realisation, focusing on the effectiveness of investor assistance, the acceleration of licensing processes, and ease of access to services for the business community.
Head of the Tangerang City DPMPTSP, Dr. Ir. R. Sugihharto Achmad Bagdja, M.Si., stated that the Integrated Performance Assessment is a key moment to continue improving services for the public. “This assessment serves as a comprehensive evaluation and motivation for us to keep delivering professional, transparent, and fast services, while creating a secure investment climate that provides legal certainty for business actors,” he said.
He explained that the DPMPTSP has continuously developed various digital-based service innovations to make the licensing process easier, faster, and more efficient. These services are designed to cut bureaucracy while enhancing public convenience when managing permits. Additionally, proactive outreach programmes and improvements in staff competency are consistently strengthened to ensure all services optimally meet the needs of the public and investors.
The results of the Integrated Performance Assessment will serve as a national benchmark in determining the quality of local government licensing services. A strong performance is expected to further solidify Tangerang City’s position as an investment-friendly region. Increased investor confidence is believed to have a direct impact on attracting new investment, creating jobs, fostering regional economic activity, and improving public welfare. The Tangerang City Government is optimistic that the various innovations and service improvements implemented will enable it to maintain, and even enhance, its achievements in the field of investment and licensing services.
