National Assembly 2026: Bogor Police Chief Galvanises 'Jaga Rawat Jawa Barat' Movement
The Bogor Regency government, together with the Bogor Police, the 0621/Bogor Regency Military District Command, Atang Sendjaja Air Force Base, and all elements of society, successfully held the 2026 National Assembly. This large-scale collaborative activity took place at the VVIP Field of Gelora Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, on Friday afternoon (14/8/2026).
Starting at 16:28 WIB simultaneously across West Java, the assembly was held to strengthen a shared commitment to maintaining unity, countering the threat of intolerance and radicalism, and preserving a conducive public security and order situation in the Bogor Regency area.
The National Assembly was led directly by three regional leaders: Bogor Regent Rudi Susmanto, Commander of Atang Sendjaja Air Force Base Air Commodore TNI A Ferdinand Picaulima, and Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto. The Head of Operations for Bogor Police, Kompol Wily Yulistiyo, acted as the parade officer.
The activity was attended by 1,584 participants from various elements, including the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, TNI-Polri personnel, Civil Service Police, community organisations, youth organisations, online motorcycle taxi drivers, labour elements, and security guards. The series of events was also marked by the signing of the ‘Support for Jaga Rawat Jawa Barat’ Declaration by representatives of community elements.
Bogor Police Chief AKBP Wikha Ardilestanto expressed his highest appreciation for the solidarity of all elements present. He emphasised that this National Assembly was a tangible cross-sectoral collaboration to strengthen the region’s moral fortress.
"The Bogor Police, together with the 0621 Military District Command and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum, firmly declare a shared commitment to strongly reject the circulation of hoaxes and disinformation that have the potential to divide citizens, ward off all forms of provocation, and continue to nurture diversity," said AKBP Wikha on Friday (14/8/2026).
AKBP Wikha underlined that maintaining public security and order is not solely the duty of the authorities, but the responsibility of all elements of society.
"Let us ignite the spirit of ‘Jaga Rawat Jawa Barat, Jaga Kabupaten Bogor!’ (Guard and Care for West Java, Guard Bogor Regency!). We urge the public not to be easily provoked by issues of unclear validity and to always prioritise deliberation and fellowship in maintaining environmental conduciveness," concluded Wikha.
The agenda was attended by various leaders and troop formations, including the Chairperson of the Regional House of Representatives, the military district command chief of staff representing the district military commander, and representatives from the prosecutor’s office, district court, religious court, mobile brigade, correctional facility, military police detachment, and regional government work units.
