Nat team leads Bermuda simulation
JAKARTA (JP): After 15 rounds the national Bermuda Bowl team
is still leading the Bermuda Bowl bridge simulation tournament at
the Senayan Bridge Center after collecting a total 297 Victory
Points (VPs).
Patimura Bridge Club Jakarta is trailing in second place on
269 VPs followed by the national Venice Cup team in third place
with 261 VPs.
The simulation began on Nov. 9 in a round robin match using 20
boards. The four-session quarterfinals, playing 64 boards, are
continuing until Wednesday morning.
The Bermuda Bowl team -- comprising of Hengky Lasut and Eddy
Manoppo; Denny Sacul and Franky Karwur; and Santje Panelewen and
Robert Tobing -- and the Venice Cup team -- consisting of Lusje
Bojoh and Joice Mandolang Tueje; Sartje Suoth Pontoh and Elvita
Kuhu Lasut; and Elita Syofian and Uki Tedjo -- will compete in
the Bermuda Bowl and Venice Cup competitions in the Bermuda
islands, United States of America, from Jan. 8 to Jan. 21. (yan)
