NasDem Targets Top Three Finish in 2029 General Election

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Deputy Chairman of the NasDem Party Central Executive Board, Saan Mustopa, stated that his party is targeting a top-three finish in the 2029 General Election. He noted that over three electoral cycles, NasDem has consistently experienced a significant increase in votes, though he acknowledged that future political competition will intensify. “We have always seen a significant increase, and we want NasDem to be among the top three winners of the 2029 election,” Saan said during the second congress and 15th anniversary celebration of Garda Pemuda NasDem in Jakarta on Tuesday. He stressed that the congress must serve as a moment to foster leadership that is full of integrity, credibility, innovation, ideas, and concepts. “Garda Pemuda NasDem is the backbone of the party. Garda Pemuda is the source of NasDem Party leadership,” he said. Therefore, he urged members to be magnanimous and support one another, adding that togetherness and unity must be cultivated to meet the party’s expectations. “If we want to be in the top three, then our greatest hope lies with Garda Pemuda NasDem,” said the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
