The series of Ramadan Safari activities by the NasDem Party’s National Executive Board (DPP) continued in Jepara District. Following a consolidation meeting with the Central Java Regional Leadership Council (DPW) in Kudus, Deputy Chairman Saan Mustopa proceeded with the itinerary by attending an iftar gathering at the Roudlotul Mubtadiin Islamic boarding school in Nalumsari, Jepara.

During his visit to the pesantren on Tuesday, 24 February, Saan Mustopa was welcomed directly by the boarding school’s leader, K.H Ma’mun Abdullah, and his teaching staff. The atmosphere of fellowship continued through the performance of joint evening prayers (tarawih), which concluded the day’s agenda.

The visit to Balekambang Islamic boarding school marked the fourth activity in that day’s series of Ramadan Safari events. Visits to Islamic boarding schools have become an integral part of the NasDem Party’s 15-day Ramadan Safari programme.

For Saan, the pesantren is not merely a stopping point during his travels, but rather an important space for maintaining closeness, hearing directly from religious scholars, and strengthening the moral relationship between political work and religious values.

“This fellowship visit serves as a reminder that every step remains on the correct path. We need advice, prayers, and guidance from the kyai,” he stated in a written statement on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.

He viewed Ramadan as an opportunity to reorient the focus of service. For this reason, visits to Islamic boarding schools are always prioritised in every Ramadan Safari agenda.

With the conclusion of activities at Balekambang Islamic boarding school, that day’s schedule ended in a religious atmosphere full of fellowship. The NasDem Party’s Ramadan Safari continued, with visits to Islamic boarding schools serving as the central focus in every engagement undertaken.
