Nasdem Karawang Distributes PIP Aid and 300 Notebook Packages to Motivate Students
Dian Fahrud Jaman, Chairman of the Nasdem Party’s Regional Representative Council (DPD) in Karawang and Deputy Speaker of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), has distributed Indonesia Smart Programme (PIP) aid and provided educational logistics in the form of 300 notebook packages to students at several state junior high schools (SMPN) in Karawang. This initiative was undertaken to support students’ preparations for the new academic year.
The aid was distributed directly to three target schools: SMPN 1 Karawang, SMPN 3 Karawang, and SMPN 7 Karawang. According to distribution data, 96 students at SMPN 1 Karawang, 87 students at SMPN 3 Karawang, and 99 students at SMPN 7 Karawang were recorded as beneficiaries of the PIP programme. In addition to receiving educational funding from the central government, students at these schools also received free notebook packages to support their learning activities.
Dian Fahrud Jaman stated that providing the notebook packages was an additional initiative aimed at easing the burden on parents in fulfilling stationery needs for the new academic calendar. “In addition to handing over the PIP, I also provided notebook packages for the students, especially since we are currently entering the new academic year,” said Dian Fahrud Jaman on Friday (17/7).
Through this concrete action, he expressed hope that the uptake of the PIP programme in Karawang could run more optimally and be better targeted, while also motivating students to be more enthusiastic in pursuing their studies with adequate supporting facilities.
