NasDem Hosts Iftar Gathering Attended by JK, Puan and Anies

The NasDem Party held a communal iftar gathering with orphans today. The event was attended by a number of prominent figures, ranging from 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK), House of Representatives Speaker Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), to Deputy House Speaker Sari Yuliati.

As observed by reporters at NasDem Tower in Central Jakarta on Thursday (19/2/2026) at 17:50 Western Indonesian Time, NasDem Chairman Surya Paloh was already present at the venue. Surya Paloh was seen seated alongside JK, Puan, Zulhas, PKS President Almuzzammil Yusuf, and NasDem Deputy Chairman Saan Mustopa.

PKB Deputy Chairman Jazilul Fawaid, Deputy House Speaker Sari Yuliati, and former Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan also attended the event. Anies was seen sitting next to Prananda Paloh.

Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) was also present. The iftar commenced with a prayer recitation led by House Commission II Chairman Rifqinizamy Karsayuda.

“We certainly deeply appreciate the time that you have all set aside to join the entire NasDem family for this iftar gathering,” said Surya Paloh at the event.

He said the communal iftar was held to strengthen bonds of fellowship. He expressed his hope that good relations would continue to be maintained.

“Breaking the fast together today, we surely agree that it can provide its own meaning so that the bonds of fellowship that have existed thus far continue to be preserved,” he said.
