NasDem DKI to Consolidate Policies for Jakarta Residents’ Welfare
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Regional Leadership Council (DPW) of the NasDem Party, DKI Jakarta, is pushing for consolidation of strategic policies to improve the welfare of the capital’s residents. The move was announced by Wibi Andrino, the DPW NasDem DKI chairman, during a Ramadan buka puasa gathering held by the party on Friday (6 March 2026).
“During Ramadan, we will reexamine and consolidate various policies and efforts to deliver welfare for Jakarta’s residents,” Wibi told Kompas.com.
The buka puasa gathering was attended by strategic figures, including NasDem General Chairman Surya Paloh, the Speaker of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Khoirudin, and Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung, along with several other party leaders. With their presence, the policy consolidation plan is expected to ensure pro-people programmes run effectively.
“We hope the buka puasa moment can serve as both a space for goodwill and strategic communication, with the aim of placing Jakarta residents’ welfare as the main objective,” said Wibi.
In addition, NasDem Jakarta, through its faction in Jakarta, is committed to forging cooperation with various parties to ensure that the policies produced truly favour the public. However, technical details on how the consolidation will be implemented or who will participate have not been disclosed.
