Some people have suggested that the late Benyamin S.'s name be perpetuated as a street name in Jakarta, particularly in his birthplace of Kemayoran.

This reminds me of the late Bing Slamet, a great actor of the past. I suggest that the two names be perpetuated side by side as the administration did with Jl. Hayam Wuruk and Jl. Gajah Mada. Jl. H. Benyamin S. for the street beginning from Marta bridge to Galur, and Jl. Bing Slamet for Galur-Marta bridge street, which lies on the other of the river.
