N-250 prototype rolls out

BANDUNG: The State-owned Aircraft Industry (IPTN) is conducting a series of tests on the physical condition of the second prototype of the locally-built N-250 aircraft.

IPTN's Senior Executive Vice President Said D. Jenie told The Jakarta Post Wednesday reports claiming that IPTN had failed to meet the roll-out deadline was untrue.

Said said the second prototype would be certified at the end of next year.

He said the IPTN will conduct a test flight on the second prototype at the end of this year. (21/imn)
