Jakarta – A joint team of investigators from the Police Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipidkor) and the Metro Jaya Police’s Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) visited the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. Their arrival was part of the evidence transfer process in the alleged corruption and money laundering case involving former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah. During the handover, investigators brought three containers of evidence seized from searches. Officers were also seen carrying several large frames. One item that drew particular attention was a large frame covered with a cloth bearing the Manchester United (MU) logo. The contents of the frame remain unknown as it was completely covered. This transfer follows an earlier visit on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, when police investigators brought a pink suitcase labelled ‘BAP and Mindik LP 01 and LP 02’ to the AGO. The Head of the AGO’s Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, confirmed the visit was part of the agreed administrative handover process for the case. The Police Corruption Eradication Corps had previously decided to transfer the handling of the corruption and TPPU case involving Febrie Adriansyah to the AGO, a decision described as strengthening synergy in law enforcement. Febrie Adriansyah and a private sector individual, Don Ritto, have been named as suspects following a case review.
