MyPertamina Wins Digital Innovation Award for Energy Service Transformation
Digital transformation in the national energy sector continues to evolve alongside growing demands for faster, more transparent, and integrated services. One innovative initiative receiving recognition is the MyPertamina app, which won an award at the Digital Innovation Awards 2026 in the category of Excellence in National Energy Digital Ecosystem Transformation.
The award was received by Pertamina Patra Niaga at an event held in Jakarta on Friday, 22 May, in recognition of the company’s digital energy service transformation. The accolade was presented by Yusril Ihza Mahendra to Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Director of Transformation, Digitalisation, and Sustainability, Tenny Elfrida.
The MyPertamina app has been praised for driving national energy service transformation through integrated digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This transformation forms part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s strategy as a downstream subholding to strengthen modern, efficient, and adaptable energy services for public needs.
Angela Tanoesoedibjo, CEO of iNews Media Group, stated that the Digital Innovation Awards 2026 recognise companies and institutions delivering technological innovations with positive societal impact.
“Amidst the dynamic evolution of the digital world, we see how technology not only transforms how we work and communicate but also opens wider access to education, services, business opportunities, and community empowerment,” Angela said.
Meanwhile, Tenny Elfrida said the award motivates the company to further strengthen digital-based energy services.
“We are grateful and proud. This award encourages Pertamina Patra Niaga to continue improving services for the public through digitalisation, ensuring energy services become more accessible, transparent, and targeted,” Tenny said.
She added that through MyPertamina, the company is developing various digital innovations, including the implementation of the Accurate Subsidy Programme, nationwide cashless transaction digitalisation, energy super-app development, and end-to-end operational data integration. These developments aim to strengthen energy distribution governance and enhance customers’ experience in accessing national energy services.
Tenny added that the digital transformation also forms part of the company’s commitment to strengthening a smarter, more inclusive, and sustainable national energy ecosystem.
“The hope is that MyPertamina will continue to grow and deliver greater benefits to society while supporting a more modern and sustainable national energy transformation,” she concluded. (E-3)
