MyESICS brings digital platform to strengthen environmental management
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Digital business company MyESICS has introduced a web-based technology platform designed to simplify the processes of environmental management, monitoring, analysis and reporting.
“We see that environmental management in Indonesia increasingly requires a data-based approach. Companies and agencies no longer only need to have data, but require a system that can help process that data into information that is easy to understand and supports decision-making,” said Founder and CEO of PT Berkat MyESICS Indonesia Ari Christiany in a statement in Jakarta on Saturday.
Ari assessed that environmental management challenges in Indonesia are becoming more complex, especially following the El Nino phenomenon that is strengthening in 2026, increasing the risk of drought and pressure on water resource availability.
According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the phenomenon has the potential to cause a drier and longer dry season in several regions of Indonesia.
“The government is also encouraging cross-sector preparedness to maintain water availability and anticipate the impacts of drought,” said Ari.
In addition, he added, in the industrial sector, water management is becoming increasingly important because companies need to know clearly how much water is used, where it comes from, how it is utilised, and how wastewater is managed before being released into the environment.
“This condition drives the need for environmental data management systems that are not only capable of meeting regulatory compliance demands, but also help companies identify risks and improve operational efficiency,” said Ari.
He said MyESICS was developed as an integrated platform combining digital applications, environmental project management, environmental consultancy, community, and access to the latest regulations.
“In conditions like now, water management must be carried out in a measurable way. Companies need to know their water balance, understand usage patterns, and be able to immediately identify when inefficiencies occur. This data is important not only for reporting, but also for operational efficiency and sustainability,” said Ari.
