Myanmar minister visits W. Java
BANDUNG, West Java: Myanmar's Minister of Cattle Breeding and Farming Brig. Gen. Maung Maung paid a courtesy call on Vice Governor Sampurna here yesterday.
Sampurna briefed Maung, who is on a three-day visit to the province, on the development of West Java, especially in the agricultural sector.
Antara said the visit of the Myanmar minister is to strengthen relations between the two countries and to explore possible cooperation.
Maung also visited the historical Asia-Africa Conference Museum, the Nusantara Aircraft Industry, Artificial Insemination Center in Lembang and the Gunung Mas plantation. (05)
