'M.V. Top Start' serves JICT

JAKARTA (JP): The Jakarta International Container Terminal
(JICT) said on Friday it had secured the fifth new service this
year with the Singapore-based Hub Line.

JICT said Hub Line's M.V. Top Star would serve a weekly
service linking JICT and ports of Tanjung Pelapas and Port Kelang
in Malaysia.

The Singaporean shipping line is an addition to the recent
introduction of the Taiwanese Yang Ming line, which connects
Jakarta directly with Manila, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.

JICT is jointly owned by state port operator PT Pelabuhan
Indonesia II and the Hong Kong-based port operator Hutchinson
