Muzani: MPR Marching Competition Serves as a Leadership Education Tool

The Speaker of the MPR RI, Ahmad Muzani, stated that the MPR RI Marching and Flag Hoisting Creative Competition (LKBBPB) serves as a medium for leadership education for the younger generation.

Addressing the finalists of the 2026 MPR LKBBPB at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday, he noted that the participants, who are students from various regions, are learning to defend the interests of the community, the nation, and the state.

“One day, ten, twenty, thirty, or perhaps forty years from now, you will enter this building to replace me, who lives in the present day,” Muzani said, according to a written statement.

He remarked that the experience of participating in such a competition is not merely about achieving victory, but also serves as preparation for the youth to foster a love for the nation, the state, Pancasila, and the constitution.

“The heaviest task is not actually carrying a trophy or facing the judges’ assessments, but the heaviest task is to emulate the habit of always loving the country and loving others above one’s own interests,” he said.

According to Muzani, all participants who have reached the national level represent the best of the younger generation, having undergone a long selection process.

Consequently, he encouraged the finalists not to stop at their achievements as competition participants, but to continue their nationalistic spirit within community and state life.

“The true champions are those who love the country, those who love the flag, those who love Pancasila, and those who love the constitution,” he added.

Muzani requested that the finalists apply the values gained during the competition in their daily lives, including by serving as role models for their surrounding environments.

He also called upon the participants to become ambassadors for the MPR’s Four Pillars in their respective regions by upholding the values of Pancasila and the constitution, as well as their love for the Red and White flag.

“Protect the interests of the nation and the state above personal interests; protect the interests of others above personal interests; protect Pancasila, protect the Red and White, and be good ambassadors for the MPR’s Four Pillars,” he concluded.
