The ‘#YukHaji’ movement was officially launched by Muslim Pro and Maybank Indonesia at the ‘Langkah Baik’ Grand Study event held at the Allwynn Ballroom in Jakarta on Sunday (28/6/2026), drawing an enthusiastic crowd that filled registration within days. The collaboration introduces Amanah Pro, a Sharia-compliant savings solution specifically designed to assist with Hajj and Umrah planning. A monthly Umrah giveaway programme was also announced as part of the #YukHaji movement to encourage the Indonesian public to prepare for their religious journeys as early as possible.

The #YukHaji movement arrives at a critical time, considering there are currently over 5.4 million Indonesians on the national Hajj waiting list, with an average waiting period of 26 to 27 years. Amanah Pro aims to serve as a tangible bridge between spiritual aspirations and structured financial planning.

‘For many Indonesian Muslims today, the question is no longer whether they want to perform Hajj or Umrah, but when they should start preparing. The answer is increasingly clear: as early as possible,’ said Nafees Khundker, Group Managing Director and CEO of Muslim Pro. He added that through #YukHaji and Amanah Pro, Muslim Pro seeks to provide tools and solutions that make the first step towards the Holy Land easier, more affordable, and more achievable.

Departing from conventional seminars, the ‘Langkah Baik’ Grand Study adopted a warm and intimate communal picnic concept. Participants used floor cushions and mats, creating a relaxed atmosphere for interaction and reflection. During the session, Ustaz Dennis Lim discussed worship preparation from a holistic perspective, emphasising the importance of spiritual readiness combined with disciplined planning. The event also featured a ‘Face of Hijrah’ session with Alvin, an open discussion with musician Kunto Aji, and a ‘Niat Baik’ activation where participants wrote down their personal hopes of worshipping in the Holy Land.

As a practical implementation, attendees were invited to learn more about Amanah Pro through on-site account opening assisted by Maybank Indonesia’s team. This Sharia financial solution is expected to help Muslims turn their intentions into concrete plans with greater confidence. Muslim Pro and Maybank Indonesia also announced a programme to give away three Umrah packages each month to participants who meet the criteria. The event concluded with an acoustic performance by Kunto Aji, performing songs themed around hope and the search for life’s meaning, resonating with the spirit of the journey to Baitullah.
