Workers at Kyazaofficial, an online fashion shop in Cilincing, North Jakarta, are busily preparing and packaging Muslim fashion products in the week ahead of Eid, with hundreds to thousands of packages ready for dispatch to buyers across various regions of Indonesia daily, reaching markets in Singapore and Malaysia.

At the location, Kyazaofficial workers are engaged in activities including fabric cutting, sewing and label attachment. In another section, workers are occupied with packaging products destined for buyers.

During this Eid season, Kyazaofficial’s Muslim fashion sales, which rely on e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, have recorded increases of more than threefold compared to ordinary days. This activity intensifies in the week leading up to Eid, as the shop becomes a preferred choice for many buyers due to its affordable pricing.

According to Sokya, the owner of Kyazaofficial, the online shop currently sells approximately 60 Muslim fashion products such as hijabs and arm sleeves. Hijabs are priced from 17,000 to 60,000 rupiah, whilst products such as arm sleeves are sold at prices ranging from 33,000 to 50,000 rupiah.

“On average, 7,000 buyers order Kyazaofficial products daily during Ramadan,” Sokya told CNBC Indonesia.

The home-based enterprise, which was established in 2018, currently employs a total of 50 workers including seamstresses and administrative staff, who are local residents.
