Medan, Indonesia — In the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan, Musim Mas Group has once again organised its 2026 Ramadan Safari programme, distributing various forms of social assistance to communities around the company’s operational regions. This year, the programme has reached thousands of people through the distribution of more than 9,300 assistance packages and allowances to more than 1,000 orphaned children across several operational areas in Sumatra, Central Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan.

The Ramadan Safari programme is an annual corporate agenda as part of Musim Mas Group’s commitment to implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) whilst strengthening relationships with communities in the vicinity of its operational areas. Various social activities are conducted throughout Ramadan, including communal breaking of fasts with communities and village officials, allowances for orphaned children, distribution of basic necessity packages ahead of Eid al-Fitr, and assistance with religious facility equipment. The series of activities runs from late February to mid-March 2026 across the company’s various operational regions.

Yuandy, Corporate Affairs General Manager of Musim Mas Group, stated that the Ramadan Safari represents an important opportunity to strengthen unity between the company and the community. “Ramadan is a blessed time for sharing and strengthening togetherness with the community. We hope the assistance provided can deliver tangible benefits whilst reinforcing harmonious relationships between the company and its surrounding environment,” said Yuandy.

The series of activities serves not only as a means of providing assistance to the community but also as a platform for fellowship between the company, local government, religious leaders, community figures, and residents around the company’s operational areas.

The programme has also received appreciation from local authorities. Hanifah, Lurah (village chief) of Tangkahan, Medan Labuhan District, expressed that the activities conducted by Musim Mas Group contribute positively to the community in her area. “We greatly appreciate the activities carried out by Musim Mas Group through its CSR programme. The company has consistently supported various community activities and programmes aligned with regional government programmes,” said Hanifah.

One beneficiary, Nur Aini, 51, a resident of Lingkungan V Kelurahan Tangkahan, shared that she has directly experienced the benefits of the programme, which has operated for several years. “During Ramadan, there are usually communal breaking of fast activities, distribution of basic necessity packages, and allowances for orphaned children. This assistance is very helpful for us, especially in supplementing our household necessities,” she said.

Through various sustained social initiatives, Musim Mas Group hopes the Ramadan Safari programme can continue to benefit the community whilst strengthening harmonious relationships between the company and communities around its operational areas. This commitment aligns with Musim Mas Group’s role as an integrated palm oil company operating globally with principal activities in Indonesia, consistently implementing various social responsibility programmes to create positive impact for communities.
