With representative facilities and space for MSMEs, we hope this area can become a new icon for Percut Sei Tuan District while also driving the local economy.” Musim Mas President Director Gunawan Siregar stated that the construction of the Percut Sei Tuan District Square is part of the company’s commitment to growing together with communities around its operational areas. “As a company that has long operated in Deli Serdang Regency, we believe that corporate success must go hand in hand with community progress. Through collaboration with the Deli Serdang Regency Government, we hope this square can become a shared space that provides long-term benefits and supports the creation of a healthier, more productive, and inclusive environment for the community.” The construction of the Percut Sei Tuan District Square is part of Musim Mas’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. Located in Saentis Village, the area was chosen because it is near the company’s operational area and aligns with the Deli Serdang Regency Government’s efforts to develop Percut Sei Tuan as a strategic area and a new regional icon. The programme also supports the Deli Serdang Regency Government’s vision to realise a ‘Healthy Deli Serdang’ by providing green open spaces that promote physical, spiritual, and environmental health for the community. The President Director of Musim Mas added that since the start of construction, the company coordinated intensively with the Deli Serdang Regency Government, the Percut Sei Tuan District Government, and the Saentis Village Government to ensure the facilities built truly meet the community’s needs. Upon completion, the square was handed over to the Deli Serdang Regency Government for sustainable management and utilisation. The square is designed as a multifunctional public space accessible to all levels of society. In addition to green open areas, the site is equipped with sports facilities, a children’s playground, a meeting hall, gathering spaces, and an area for MSMEs. The presence of these facilities is expected to encourage a healthy lifestyle, strengthen social interaction, and open new economic opportunities for the surrounding community. Construction of the square began with a groundbreaking ceremony on 16 December 2025 and was completed in approximately seven and a half months before being inaugurated on 4 August 2026. The construction process was carried out through close coordination between Musim Mas and the Deli Serdang Regency Government to ensure alignment with community needs and regional development plans. In addition to inaugurating the Percut Sei Tuan District Square, Musim Mas also provided assistance to 25 underprivileged individuals and 25 orphans as part of the company’s commitment to sharing and supporting community welfare around its operational areas. Looking ahead, Musim Mas hopes the Percut Sei Tuan District Square will become a vibrant shared space through various community activities and a symbol of collaboration between the government, businesses, and the community in creating a healthy, inclusive, and sustainable environment.
