Musical performance at GKJ

The Jakarta Art House (GKJ) will host a series of musical performances in August.

A piano recital by Mario Santoso will be held on Aug. 1 at 8 p.m. Santoso will play romantic compositions by Chopin, Schubert and Mendelssohn, among others.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Indonesian independence, the Jakarta String Quartet, along with young pianists and violinists, will present a classical music concert on Aug. 2.

On Aug. 3, the young pianist Harimada Kusuma will perform at 8 p.m.
