Museum to test walk baby girl
SEMARANG, Central Java: Authorities are to investigate claims
that a seven-month old baby girl has managed to walk.
Paulus Pangka, the manager of Central Java's Indonesian Record
Museum (MURI) in Semarang, said its office would conduct a
validity test on Aulia Valeda Charmen, born on Apr. 19, 2001, to
determine whether she was really capable of walking.
Community leaders would watch Aulia's attempt to walk, Paulus
said. "If the baby is proven able to walk, her achievement will
be recorded at MURI."
The achievement of Aulia, a daughter of a couple living on
Jalan Gebangsari in Genuk subdistrict, if proven, will be
considered unique in Indonesia as babies are not normally able to
walk till they are at least one-year old. --Antara
