Musa Rajekshah Wins detikSumatera Award: We Help Development in North Sumatra
Member of Commission V of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Musa Rajekshah, has won the detikSumatera Awards 2026. The man familiarly known as Ijeck was considered to have made a significant contribution to promoting connectivity and sustainable infrastructure development, particularly in the North Sumatra region.
The award trophy was presented directly by detikcom Editor-in-Chief Ardhi Suryadhi at The Trans Hotel Jakarta on Friday evening (28/8/2026). Ijeck attended in person to receive the recognition for his parliamentary work that has had an impact on regional development.
“First of all, I would like to thank detikcom for the award. We are considered to have carried out our duties and been able to help development in North Sumatra in particular,” he said.
As a member of Commission V of the DPR RI, which oversees infrastructure and transportation, Ijeck was said to have contributed to advancing North Sumatra’s infrastructure development, which is not only oriented towards physical construction but also takes into account resilience, sustainability, budget effectiveness and the long-term needs of the community.

More than just an awards event, the detikSumatera Awards is expected to spark more strategic collaborations and fresh ideas whose benefits are truly felt directly by communities in Sumatra.
The awards night was also attended by Founder and Chairman of CT Corp Chairul Tanjung as well as members of the Red and White Cabinet, including Minister of Environment Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat and Minister of Culture Fadli Zon.
A number of important figures and regional heads from Sumatra were also present, including Governor of North Sumatra Bobby Afif Nasution, Governor of Bengkulu Helmi Hasan, Governor of Jambi Al Haris, Governor of Lampung Rahmat Mirzani, and Deputy Governor of South Sumatra Cik Ujang.
In addition to the executive ranks, legislators were also in attendance, including Deputy Chairman of Commission VI of the DPR RI Andre Rosiade, Member of Commission V of the DPR Musa Rajekshah, and Member of Commission X of the DPR Karmila Sari. From the police, South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho and Bengkulu Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yudhi Sulistianto were also present.
