Musa Rajekshah Receives 'Sustainable Infrastructure Development Figure' at detikSumatera Awards

Indonesian House of Representatives member Musa Rajekshah (Ijeck) has received the detikSumatera Awards 2026 in the category of Figure Driving Connectivity and Sustainable Infrastructure Development. Ijeck was recognised for promoting infrastructure development in North Sumatra that is not solely oriented towards physical construction, but also takes into account resilience, sustainability, budget effectiveness, and the long-term needs of the community.

According to detikSumut, the award was received by Ijeck at the detikSumatera Awards 2026 ceremony held at the Grand Ballroom of Trans Hotel Jakarta on Friday (28/8/2026). The award was presented directly by Transmedia Director Latif Harnoko.

For context, the detikSumatera Awards 2026 was jointly initiated by detikSumut and detikSumbagsel as detikcom’s regional platforms for the island of Sumatra. The event was broadcast live through detikcom’s official channels.

The detikSumatera Awards 2026 serves as a form of respect and appreciation for figures, institutions, and communities for their innovation and contributions to advancing Sumatra. It also aims to inspire the emergence of various breakthroughs for regional and community progress.

The selection of award recipients was carried out through a special process by detikcom’s editorial board, taking into account criteria such as innovation, creativity, inspiration, impact on society, and activity in their respective fields.

A number of awards were presented at the detikSumatera Awards 2026, including the Commendable Development Innovation Programme Award, the Commendable Economic Programme Award, the Commendable Business Programme Award, and the Figure of Progress Accelerator Award.
