Murderer of Two Women in Banyumas House Arrested in Under Five Hours
The perpetrator who killed two women in Patikraja Village, Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency, has been arrested. A joint police team apprehended the suspect in the Banjarnegara Regency area in under five hours.
Banyumas Police Chief, Commissioner Petrus Silalahi, stated that after receiving information about the incident, the police team immediately launched an investigation and pursued the perpetrator. “Shortly after the report came in, the team conducted an investigation and managed to secure the suspected perpetrator, identified by the initials A alias D (24), in the Banjarnegara area,” Petrus said, as quoted by detikJateng on Friday (12/6/2026).
Petrus explained that the suspected perpetrator is the grandson of one of the victims, identified by the initial K (81). Her body was found in a well at her home by residents that morning. “At the time of the incident, a resident encountered D, who is K’s grandson, inside the house. When they tried to question him, he fled on a motorcycle and even struck a resident,” he clarified. Police are currently examining the perpetrator, including his relationship with the other victim, identified as AA (18), who was not recognised by local residents.
